Camarillo’s warm weather, mature trees, citrus groves, irrigated landscaping, and open agricultural land create ideal conditions for honey bees, wasps, and other stinging insects throughout much of the year. Live Honey Bee Removal

Whenever conditions allow, we relocate healthy honey bee colonies instead of exterminating them.

Our technicians carefully remove the entire colony—including the queen—so the bees can be relocated to a managed apiary where they can continue pollinating California’s farms, orchards, and native plants.

Relocating the complete colony also reduces the likelihood of bees returning to the same location.

Complete Hive & Honeycomb Removal

Simply removing the visible bees is only part of the job.

Established colonies often leave behind:

  • Honeycomb
  • Honey stores
  • Beeswax
  • Developing brood
  • Pollen
  • Dead bees

If these materials remain inside a wall or attic, they can attract future swarms, ants, rodents, and other pests while causing unpleasant odors or staining.

Whenever accessible, we remove the remaining hive materials to help prevent recurring infestations and protect your property.neycomb whenever possible to help prevent recurring infestations.

Bees Inside Walls, Attics & Roofs

One of the most common calls we receive is for bees entering homes through small openings around rooflines, vents, chimneys, stucco cracks, and utility penetrations.

We regularly remove colonies from:

  • Exterior walls
  • Stucco walls
  • Attics
  • Rooflines
  • Chimneys
  • Garages
  • Sheds
  • Barns
  • Palm trees
  • Shade trees
  • Irrigation valve boxes
  • Utility enclosures
  • Agricultural buildings

Our technicians determine exactly where the colony is located before recommending the least invasive removal method whenever possible.

Bee Swarm Removal

Spring is the busiest season for bee swarms throughout Camarillo.

Swarming bees may temporarily gather on:

  • Trees
  • Bushes
  • Fences
  • Patio furniture
  • Vehicles
  • Homes
  • Commercial buildings

Although swarming bees are usually less defensive than established colonies, they should still be handled by experienced professionals before they settle into a permanent nesting location.

Prompt removal often makes successful live relocation possible.

Wasp, Yellow Jacket & Hornet Removal

Not every stinging insect is a honey bee.

Bee Specialist also removes:

Because every species behaves differently, we first identify the insect before recommending the appropriate removal method.

I'm happy to be able to leave a 5 star review for Ron and Daniel, his assistant. Many of the bee control businesses have similar names. We got in touch with Ron after seeing a google search and seeing his website. It appears they service LA county, Ventura and Santa Barbara. They were listed under "free" but it wasn't free. It was $250 with a discount of 10% for seniors. I'm a gardener and I could not imagine myself killing this innocent swarm of bees. Ron assured me the bees would be relocated to another situation. You should have brought us a little jar of honey. Within less than 3 hours after our initial call, Daniel B, his technician was at our property and had removed the bees. I have photos. they have a box about twice the size of a shoebox, it must smell good in there because the bees just fly in, when the queen flies in the bees make a special sound. I like to think of it as a happy sound. They are listed as exterminators but I think of them as bee rescuers, it was worth every bit of the $225.

Super informative and responsive. All contact to set up the visit was actually via text and I never felt ignored. Tech was scheduled the same morning and showed up within 10 min. He conducted the inspection, sprayed repellent, and helped to add screens to our chimneys to keep uninvited houseguests from buzzing into the house.

Had our first yellow-jacket hornet's nest - in the ground ivy. Very aggressive, stung the housekeeper and myself while using the trash barrels. Called Bee Removal Specialist who came out the next day and neutralized it. Haven't seen a hornet since. Great work!
